Human Biology

Human biology majors at UIndy study humans and their close relatives in order to apply that knowledge to careers in human biology or to continue studying medical and forensic sciences. While many students continue on to graduate school, this major also equips you with the necessary skills to begin careers in medical and forensic fields.

Program strengths

By drawing on traditional sciences, you will learn about biological aspects of the human body, its functions, evolutionary foundations, and other core skills for advanced study in human biology, medicine and public health. Other strengths of UIndy’s human biology program include:
